About twenty years I worked as a Mystery Shopper. It was a great part-time gig for a poor college student! I got paid to dine at fancy restaurants, go shopping (I got to keep the merchandise), and see movies. Years later as a new mom looking for ways to earn a little extra spending money I longed for this former dream job! I racked my brain for the name of my former employer, but to no avail! I checked online only to find countless companies promising Mystery Shopper positions and asking those interested to pay a fee. From my past experience as a Mystery Shopper I knew that there should be no payment on my part and I became aggravated at the thought of how many people potentially got scammed by this! Determined to locate Legitimate Mystery Shopper Employment so that others wouldn't get ripped off I did more investigation and came up with the list below. Readers, I have one suggestion before you get started with this list. Mystery Shopper work is sporadic and those of you who are interested in taking on a number of assignments should register with several companies. Now, without further ado, here are my findings:**
