My name is Nanci Sparrow and I am the sole creator and author of Frugal Parents Online.  For those of you who are interested, I met my husband through a mutual friend and we married in 2000.  March 19, 2001 was our best day ever when I gave birth to a brand-new baby girl.  (Don't tell her, though...her daddy told her we got her on the sale rack at Target!). 

I spent 15 years of my professional life as an Insurance Agent.  I liked it a lot and really enjoyed the flexibility of being in Sales.  Unfortunately, a few years ago the company I was working for took the flexibility out of the job (no more working from the house on a laptop) and I opted to stay home with my daughter.  Great choice, don't you think?

Since that time I've spent countless hours online scouring the Internet for the best deals, legitimate ways to earn an income online, parenting information, children's activities, and more.  I always wished there was one website that had everything I was looking for.  

That is exactly what I have put together for you  here at Frugal Parents Online.  This site is a community for parents looking for advice, opinions, and ways to stay within their budget.  Launched in February of 2008, Frugal Parents Online receives visitors from around the globe looking for information on topics such as these.  I hope you enjoy what we have to offer and will bookmark us and come back and visit often!  The site will be updated and expanded to frequently for your satisfaction.  If you have any suggestions for our improvement, please feel free to leave comments.
